Research
Toshihiro Fujii is working about a research of high energy astrophysics as an experimental physicist.
Energetic elementary particles from the universe, so called cosmic rays, were discovered by V.F.Hess in 1912, almost one century ago. However, their origins are still unknown. Among them, ultra-high energy cosmic rays with energies above 1019 eV are the most energetic particle in the universe, and their origins are related with energetic astronomical phenomena or exotic physics. Thus, in order to conclude origins of cosmic ray, we steadily observe ultra-high energy cosmic rays by the Pierre Auger observatory in Malargue of Argentina from 2004 and the Telescope Array experiment in Utah of USA from 2008.
